Can you say disappointment!

My first race of the season and my first race as an official TRIgirl and I bombed. I made the rookie mistake of poor race day planning.

It was NOT a good idea to try and meet people at two different times, squeeze in 3 extra miles before the race and then hang around getting wet and cold for an hour waiting for the race start. WTF was I thinking???

Anyhow, I was about 1 minute/mile off pace making for a race time 9 minutes slower than last year. Yep I am an idiot.

Despite my poor result I enjoyed a celebratory post-race party with the TRIgirls who PR'd the race. We enjoyed pink champagne and other delectables graciously provided by ANNN.
