After two disastrous runs this weekend, I tried again today to get my 12 miler done. I may not be fast but I am persistent. Well... mission accomplished. I ran 12.4 miles relatively pain free and with minimal GI issues. I am thrilled!
I really want to get my long run to around 15 miles. This is more mental than anything because even at 15 there is big difference to 26.2. But I feel if I get to 15, that is more than halfway and that just makes me feel better.
So onward and further, two more long runs for me before IMFL. I will be ready as I can be and I am totally okay with that.

Way to go Kate! Keep plugging away. I often think the mind is 3/4 of those long runs. Maybe I'll see you out there this weekend. i've got 16 on my schedule.
