Week in Review

Yah, I realize it is only Thursday but a lot has happened this week.
I finally upgraded to road pedals and shoes. When I first got my bike I was nervous about going clipless so I used MTB shoes and pedals. Not wanting to look like a complete dork at IMFL I decided to upgrade over the winter so I can get used to them before hitting the roads.

Wait for it, cue music... on Tuesday I was given the go ahead to resume running. YAY for ME!! This will be a very slow build up, I will only be running 2 miles 3 times per week for 6 weeks, but I am still very excited.

I also had a bike fit this week and I do feel more comfortable but it is not all there yet. I most definitely need a new saddle. I have moved the saddle every which way and without going into the gory details it ain't working honey. So that will be my next bike purchase.

And as if I wasn't spending enough money, I need some new running shoes Santa. All in all a good week wouldn't you say.
