DST

That's Daylight Savings Time folks. I love DST, the longer evenings just shout 'summer is here' to me. I do feel bad for the early workouters though, who now go back into darkness.


On a completely different note...I realized this week that I have made huge strides since December in my training. Not because I am faster or stronger, although I hope I am.

It feels easier somehow. I don't even think about the workouts as I look at my schedule, I am so not fazed by whatever is on there. What used to seem daunting just looks well...normal. How crazy and beautiful is that.

2 hour bike ride followed by a 4 mile run, no problem.

1.5 mile swim, okay then.

4 mile run followed by 6 half mile repeats, you got it.

Day by day, week by week it is coming together. That impossible sounding Ironman race is looking doable. I really know I can do this and that is huge.
