Moving Forward

So with two days rest I felt good. One of my goals this year is to listen to my body more instead of being a slave to my schedule. I am apt to get caught up in the numbers at the expense of my health. I must remember consistency is key here and getting injured does me no good at all.

After the ride on Saturday my foot felt good enough to run. I allowed myself the option to bail if things weren't going well. Three miles out the foot felt fine so we kept going to 4 then turned around to complete the 8. I must admit those last two miles were rough.

I also signed up to do Masters swim 2x per week. I don't know why I put this off for so long as I really enjoy coached swims so much better than being in the pool on my own. This morning I decided to get a jump start on Masters and took myself off the to RTC coached swim and had a blast.
